Question: Why choose The Alternative London Tour?

Answer: Because we are unique! Even though we are the longest running London street art tour, we believe that the art on the walls is just the tip of the iceberg. We aim to go much deeper by also giving insights into the history and cultures that made this area what it is today and the changes it is currently experiencing.

Question: Why is it on a pay what you like basis?

Answer: This tour was started out of a pure love for the area and it's creativity. We do this first and foremost because we care about it and we want to pass our passion for the area in which we live on to others. We let you choose what to pay your guide depending on what you feel it's worth and what your budget allows to make our tours are accessible to everyone.

Question: The evenings are dark now, will the tour be as good?

Answer: Yes, the streets are well lit so the artwork is visible, and you are infact likey to see more artwork than the daytime tours as some art covered security shutters are pulled down.

Question: Will the tour go ahead in the rain?

Answer: If there is light rain or showers the tour will usually go ahead. If there is heavy rain the tour will be cancelled and you will be sent a text message to advise you that this is the case.

Question: How long does the tour last?

Answer: Between one and a half and two hours.

Question: Where does the tour Start / Finish?

Answer: Details of meeting place near Liverpool Street will be sent to you upon booking. We finish near Old Street tube.

Question: What should I bring?

Answer: Warm clothes, comfortable shoes and an umbrella. A camera. Bring a notepad if you wish to remember your favorite artists and streets.

Question: What if I book a place and can't make it?

Answer: Please! please! please! email us or text the number supplied in your booking confirmation email. We limit numbers to allow people to get the most from the tour. You could you be taking the place of someone who wanted to come and might not be able to make it again.
